What should I do before my appointment?

Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment and arrive with clean skin free of lotions, oils, or deodorant. Avoid tanning and excessive sun exposure beforehand.

Can I wax instead of shave before my appointment?

No. Avoid waxing, plucking, or tweezing before your treatment, since laser hair removal needs the hair follicle intact to work effectively. Shaving is recommended because it removes the hair above the skin while leaving the follicle in place.
